I am not great at finding what chord a song is in, but if you know bluegrass, you know that if you know what chord it is in, you can guess the other chords pretty well. This is a GREAT app to help me start learning new songs in my iTunes library that are not anywhere online. SUCH A GIFT. Love that they have mando, ukelele, guitar and banjo chord sets. Between my boyfriend and I, we have all four. The app can be a bit laggy at times (adjusting capo position), and you do need to download tunes out of Match if you use it, but an invaluable tool. Thank you!

Highly recommend you to have if you want to get to know chords combination of any song

Worst app purchase ever. Completely inaccurate. It couldn’t even tell the difference between Dmaj and Gmaj, calls F#m7 Fmaj, etc. If you want to learn the chord structure of a song quickly, DO NOT buy this app, it will slow you down enormously.

Not perfect, but far superior to most tab web sites. Chord analysis is sometimes muddled by a solo playing over rhythm. Big plus for tempo and transposition options!

Hardly any options and you have to pay for other instruments. There are free ones that are way better.

This technology maybe extremely useful someday, but Ive yet to find chord recognition software that is even remotely accurate. Although I dont feel the developers are to blame for inaccuracies, their willingness to advertise and charge folks for nonexistent functionality is unethical.

But that would be much better if there was an option to show the chords in degrees (functional harmony)

I love this app because I be able to practice lead guitar accurately. I just solo along the song and land the right notes based on the chords this app shows. I am sure it is not correct 100% but it does the job for me!

Some of chords detected were inaccurate and only slowed down any hopes for progress. Wouldnt recommend this app.

If you have musical knowledge you can sometimes pick out the few real chords that are accurate. But now whatever version this is cant keep up and the videos arent even converting anymore. It stays stuck on "verifying" even when you cancel and go back.

I use this app to determine the Key and Chords for church songs so I can learn to play along with my Harmonica. Is the app perfect No. But it determines about 90 % of the correct chords. I use it everyday, well worth the price.

Im a beginner (2yrs) and I had a lot of hard time to guess notes of songs. It helped me a lot and I think it can be a useful tool for any beginner who cant guess notes just by listening the song. Thanks for the app!!
